The American Cheese Society hold its 2011 conference and competition in Montreal, last week.
Many Canadian cheeses made from cows’ milk were named as category winners, and Louis D’or, a firm, organic, farmstead cheese produced by Fromagerie du Presbytère in Quebec, placed third overall in the ‘Best of Show’.

Mariposa Dairy’s Lindsay Bandaged Goat Cheddar was first runner-up in Best of Show.
