The secret of saving time and money lies in planning. Draw up your weekly menus in advance, based on seasonal products and flyer specials.
Make out your grocery list you so don’t end up forgetting anything, buying more than you need and getting taken in by false bargains at the grocery store. Once you return home, prepare a few dishes that you can reheat at the last minute.
This is the formula of this column. For more details and flexibility, SOSCuisine.com is there for you.

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
I love your site and use it all the time. I’ve saved at least $20/wk by following your menus. However, I would be happier if you could include the names of the stores where the item is on sale in the grocery list area, because I could plan my shopping trip accordingly: ie: the majority of items I need for my menu are all on sale at Loblaws this week- so I will go there and find most of my items on sale! Or, I am coming home from work and there is a RCS …I can pick up 2-3 items there on my way…
